with the most challenging, difficult, stressful, inspiring, crazy semester of my life. it’s been tough. i’ve been without the people i love, and i haven’t always been loving to myself. but here’s the thing… i’ve learned so much. i’ve learned that i can get through sadness and fear. i’ve learned that i’m a really good time. i’ve learned that i’m good at making friends, and sometimes good at spitting game.
most importantly, though, i’ve learned that i can stand on my own two feet. that even though there were those times when life knocked me down, i can get the fuck back up. i love myself, i love who i am, who i’ve become, and who i’m going to be.
looking forward to a summer of sunshine, smiles, and adventure.

behind the house i grew up in was a barn. each spring, fox cubs would emerge, sleepy eyed and timid. i loved to watch them grow up.
